ThumbPRO Baseball first launched in 2020 and one of the product's first adopters was Tanner Carson. From that time to this updated blog, Tanner has been a fan of ThumbPRO (the company started out with the name Thumb-per, a name they still hold fondly in their hearts, but they felt ThumbPRO--with the emphasis on PRO to stand for "Protection" of the thumb area, was a better and more descriptive name).

in this video Tanner talks about how he used to use the ProHitter and he made the switch to ThumbPRO thumb guard.  He was looking to protect his hand, but, the other product didn't fit him well and he loves the feel and comfort of ThumbPRO. Tanner put on ThumbPRO and hasn't looked back.

In 2022 ThumbPRO came out with version 2.0 with a reinforced thumb ring.  This improvement increased the thumb guard's durability and players use it confidently swing after swing.

The difference between ThumbPRO and the other thumb guards on the market is the ergonomic design. Baseball and softball players alike love the way the ThumbPRO sits on the hand, stays in place and is incredibly comfortable.  ThumbPRO helps protect the hand from bat sting and helps increase bat speed.

Many MLB players wear thumb guards to help protect their hand. With the way that the ThumbPRO fits ergonomically on the hand, players find that they love that they can put it on and forget that they even have it on. Hunter Dozier, MLB player with the Kansas City Royals wears ThumbPRO and he says he loves the design and like so many players, he cites the overall comfort of this small, but very useful, baseball piece of equipment.

Many youth baseball and softball players, who often don't feel the bat sting as much because the ball isn't coming at them super fast, say, that when they use ThumbPRO at bat they notice an increased confidence  because they don't worry anymore about bat sting and they can concentrate on their game.  Coaches of little league players say they appreciate the way that ThumbPRO helps position the hand properly on the bat, which helps youth baseball and softball players in their game, which is also another confidence booster.
